Rise Up is hiring clinicians, who are licensed in Maine, to provide individual counseling, office or video based. We specialize in successful treatment of anxiety. Join us! 

We provide clinical supervision, and you are considered an employee, not an independent contractor. This means you don’t have to set up and manage a business, all business functions and overhead costs are handled! Everything including but not limited to office space, technology, billing, and supplies are all taken care of. You get to focus on what you love- quality treatment with clear, positive outcomes. 

If you are burnt out on being a generalist, Rise Up is for you! Does your current case load have you researching treatment interventions for every diagnosis? Do you have to know a little about everything? It’s challenging and sometimes overwhelming to work with many types of client challenges. At Rise Up, you will have the opportunity to focus your training and skill in one area! This is a great model for client outcomes and provider burnout reduction. We specialize in the treatment of anxiety in children, teens, adults. We work on symptom management and maintenance of successes, as well as increasing self-esteem and identity formation. In addition, we work with parents on their unique stressors. Join our team and you will have the opportunity to specialize, fine tuning your skills and creating a sustainable workflow.

About the job

  • Provide individual outpatient therapy for children, teens and adults who experience anxiety
  • Use evidence-based practices and proven strategies to drive treatment of anxiety (including CBT, DBT, strengths-based approaches, mindfulness, expressive art, and positive psychology)
  • Work with parents to create and maintain supportive routines, expectations, and learning opportunities for their children, with outcomes including reduced family stress and anxiety
  • Balance of office based and telehealth hours
  • Rise Up has high rates of graduation from counseling

Candidate Requirements

  • Full or conditional licensure in good standing in the State of Maine LCPC, LCPC-C, LMFT, LMFT-C, LCSW
  • Experience and full licensure are great, but we will train the right candidates.
  • Desire to specialize in the treatment of anxiety using evidence-based practices
  • Experience implementing evidence-based practices
  • Pass a background check
